I found this expression sheet made by Jane of Art on Tumblr. And felt like it was a great opportunity to try out different facial expressions on characters. 

Overall I also planned to make every picture look like they’re part of a collection, which they are. I chose to work with bright colours and coloured lines every picture, gave it the same look of background and last but not least include that rose pattern into their clothes somehow. 

In hindsight I still like these pictures and they’re fun to looks at, but the colours are a little too bright and the colour theory isn’t quite well applied. Nonetheless it was a fun project and it really got me into exaggerating facial expressions more than I used to.
